TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
PPY Production AB, reg. nr 556689-6857, Kungsporten 1C, 427 50 Billdal, Sweden (”PPY”) provides the website and the online store on www.pellepetterson.se and www.pellepetterson.com (the “Website”/”Websites”), and the physical stores and summer stores listed under the headlines “BUTIKER” and “SOMMARBUTIKER” at https://www.pellepetterson.com/sv-se/kontakt/ (only available in Swedish) (“Store”/”Stores”). The terms “we”, “us” and “our” used below refer to PPY.
You must have reached the age of 18 to, without consent from your legal guardian, register a user account with us, apply for credit (invoice payment or payment in instalments) or purchase product(s) via the Website, or in any of our Stores.
We reserve the right to refuse purchases on the Website and our Stores in the event that you display an abnormal purchase and returns behaviour, such as e.g., repeatedly ordering and returning a large number of products.
We are entitled to unilaterally make additions or changes to these general terms and conditions of purchase (“General Terms and Conditions of Purchase”). Any such modifications will become effective – at the earliest – 30 days after the date that the amended General Terms and Conditions of Purchase have been made available on the Website. By purchasing product(s) from our assortment of products, via the Website or in any of our Stores, you accept and agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Purchase, as applicable from time to time, and certify that the personal details submitted by you are correct.
The terms and conditions for this website apply to purchases made by natural persons, i.e. private persons. For purchases made by legal persons, we refer to our General Terms and Conditions for Sales which apply to businesses. For any queries regarding these terms, please contact info@pellep.se.
For questions or concerns regarding shipments to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom and the United States, please contact info@pellep.se.
2. ORDERS
We cannot guarantee that the stock balance which appears on the Website for a product that you have ordered matches the actual stock balance for that product. We therefore reserve the right to only deliver products that we have in stock at the time of your order. If a product that you have ordered is out of stock, we will inform you and reimburse your payment for that product or update your payment with the third party providing your chosen payment service. If your order includes several products and we can deliver one or more of the product(s), the shipping fee will not be affected if one or more product(s) are out of stock and therefore cannot be delivered. You will in other words pay the same shipping fee, or enjoy free shipping, as you would if the sold out product(s) where in stock and could be delivered along with your other ordered products.
3. DELIVERY OF ORDERS PLACED ON THE WEBSITE
We only deliver to the countries shown when you place your order. For deliveries outside of Sweden, an extra shipping fee will apply. The shipping fees vary depending on the country and are set out in the order process. If your country is not listed as an option on our Website, please contact info@pellep.se.
The shipping fee may vary between orders. The shipping fee for your order will be displayed in the order process. We use third parties for distribution and delivery of orders and our available delivery options are displayed in the order process. The third party that delivers your order has terms and conditions for shipping and delivery that apply to you. Please note that the third party’s terms and conditions may include rules regarding notification, pickup, identification, home delivery, delivery attempts and local fees.
If you do not collect your order it will be sent back to us. For orders that are sent back to us, we will charge a fee for the handling of unclaimed parcels in accordance with clause 4 below.
If your order is placed before 11am (GMT + 1) on a working day, your order will normally be sent the same day and delivered the following working day. Our standard delivery time for products that we have in stock is 1-4 workings days within Sweden, 1-5 working days to other countries within Europe, and 2-6 working days to countries outside Europe, but longer delivery times may occur.
If your order has not been delivered to you within 30 days from the date when you placed your order, you have the right to cancel your order if you do not accept a new delivery date. In such case, we will refund the amount paid by you as soon as possible but no later than 30 days from the date you have cancelled your order and informed us about the cancellation.
We are liable for the risk of transport, namely the risk that the product is lost or damaged during the transport from us to you.
4. PRICES AND CHARGES
All prices listed on the Website and in our Stores include VAT (excluding countries outside Europe). The prices may vary between the Website and our different Stores. Our prices and charges may be changed due to circumstances beyond our control, such as substantially changed raw material prices, currency fluctuations or amended VAT. Therefore, we reserve the right to adjust our prices and charges.
We are not liable for printing or typographical errors, and reserve the right to make product changes, on the Website and in our Stores. We also make reservations to any errors in the stock balance, to clearance sale and to that the product images may differ from the real product.
You always bear the cost of returning product(s) to us when exercising returns or exchanges, or your right of withdrawal. The cost of return shipping for product(s) ordered via the Website is:
- Sweden: 60 SEK
- Other countries within EU: 9 EUR
- Switzerland: 15 EUR
- Norway: 100 NOK
- USA and Canada: 18 EUR
- Other countries outside EU: 22 EUR
You bear the cost of handling product(s) ordered by you via the Website, that are not collected by you under the conditions set forth under section 3 above. The cost for unclaimed parcels is:
- Sweden: 120 SEK
- Other countries within EU: 22 EUR
- Switzerland: 25 EUR
- USA and Canada: 18 EUR
- Other countries outside EU: 32 EUR
Please bear in mind that everything ordered from our Website is shipped from Sweden. This means that if you shop from a country outside the European Union, you can and probably will be charged for tax, duty, import and brokerage fees when receiving your parcel. Because of this we deduct the Swedish VAT from our prices on the Website in countries outside the EU, we do not want our customers to pay two different taxes from two different governments. However, for orders to Norway and UK no extra taxes, duties, import or brokerage fees will be charged, it is already included in the pricing of the products.
You are responsible for payment of the abovementioned import taxes and/or duties. We are unable to calculate the exact amount of duties and/or taxes of your parcel since these charges are imposed directly by your local customs. Please note that we do not take any part of these charges and that they are out of our control. Contact your local customs office before placing your order for current charges, so you are not surprised by charges you are not expecting. The third party that delivers your order may invoice you for these charges upon delivery through cash, check or invoice and needs to be paid in order to collect the parcel.
5. MEANS OF PAYMENT
We may use third party payment services for payments of purchases made on the Website and in our Stores. Our payment options are displayed in the order process on the Website and will appear in each Store. Please note that, when using a third party payment service, you are obligated to pay for your order in relation to the relevant third party, and the third party’s terms and conditions will apply to the payment. We reserve ourselves for changes in any third party’s terms and conditions, so please always make sure to read through them, even if you have been shopping from us before.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding payments, you can always contact us but we may direct you to the third party that provides your chosen payment service if we are not able to assist you.
6. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES, AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are not satisfied with your product, would like to exchange your product, or if you for some other reason would like to withdraw your order, we offer you free returns and exchanges for purchases in our Stores, and you have a right of withdrawal and exchanges for purchases made on the Website, subject to the terms set out below.
6.1. Purchases in Stores
We offer free returns for 7 days and free exchanges for 14 days for products purchased in any of our Stores upon presentation of a receipt.
Please note that our stores listed under the headline “SOMMARBUTIKER” at https://www.pellepetterson.com/sv-se/kontakt/ have limited opening hours for the season. If you have purchased a product in such store and would like to return or exchange the product after the day the store has closed for the season, you must make the return or exchange in one of our other Stores.
You may try on the product you have purchased, but please note that you can only return product(s) in original condition with all tags still on. Free returns and exchanges apply to all our products, except swimwear and underwear if the swimwear/underwear is sealed and the sealing has been broken. Free returns does not apply to product(s) on sale or that are otherwise sold at reduced price.
6.2. Purchases on the Website
You have a right of withdrawal for product(s) purchased on the Website and may cancel your order or exchange product(s) in your order within 14 days from the date of your receipt of the order. You may open your parcel and try on the product. The product must however be in original condition with all tags still on when you return it. The right of withdrawal applies for all of our products, except swimwear and underwear if the swimwear/underwear is sealed and the sealing is broken after you have received the products.
If you wish to withdraw an order or exchange product(s), please provide us with notice within 14 days from the date of your receipt of the order, by calling us at +46 (0) 31 708 47 80 or writing to us at info@pellep.se or PPY Production AB, Kungsporten 1C, 427 50 Billdal, Sweden. You may also exercise your right of withdrawal by using our, or the Swedish Consumer Agency (Sw. Konsumentverket), standard form, which you can download from the Swedish Consumer Agency’s website at https://publikationer.konsumentverket.se/kontrakt-och-mallar/angerblankett (only available in Swedish).
You must return the product to us as soon as possible and within 14 days from the date of your notice to us.
We kindly ask you to return the product in its original packaging.
For customers in Sweden - To return a product from/in Sweden, please follow the steps outlined [here].
For returns from countries outside Sweden, please use the return shipping label that is included in your parcel.
All returns shall be sent to our warehouse:

If you would like to exchange your ordered product with another product, use the same procedure as for withdrawals and then place a new order for the product you want instead. We will refund you for the returned item. A return fee will be deducted from your refund.
If you return your order, we will refund the amount paid by you for the product, including any eventual shipping fee. We will only refund the cost for our standard shipping option. If you have chosen a more expensive shipping option, we will make a deduction for the cost difference between standard shipping and your chosen shipping option. A return fee will be deducted from your refund.
A refund will be made as soon as possible and no later than within 14 days from the date of our receipt of your notice of withdrawal. If you, by this time, still have not returned the product to us or if we have not received the product, we will carry out the refund as soon as we have received the product or as soon you have proved that the product has been returned. You should always save the receipt you receive when submittting your package for return at the postal office. We may ask you to show such receipt if we have reason to believe that your package has been damaged during the return shipping. You bear the cost for return shipping.
If your handling of the product has resulted in a decline in value of the product we will deduct an amount corresponding to such decline in value.
7. COMPLAINTS
As a consumer you have a right to make complaints regarding defective products. A product is defective if it deviates from what was apparent at the time of the order or from your reasonable expectations, based on the information that we have provided about the product. A complaint must be made within a reasonable time after you have detected or should have detected the defect, and at the latest within three years after receiving the product. If you make a complaint within two months from detecting the defect you have made the complaint within a reasonable time. If you notice that the products sent to you are damaged when you collect them, please report the damage immediately when collecting the products. You have no obligation to accept damaged products. You should also report damage on the packaging, regardless of whether the products delivered are damaged or not.
If you observe a defect in the product/products, it is important that you – as soon as possible – contact and inform us of the relevant defect. Fill out our complaints form [here]. We will not process your return before you inform us about the defect. If your complaint is approved, we will send you a return way bill (prepaid return shipping fee) and provide you with information on how you should execute the complaint and return of the product.
When we have received information as well as the returned product from you, we will make an assessment of whether the product is defective. If we find the product is defective or wrongly delivered, we reserve the right to first remedy the defect or replace the product as soon as possible, but no later than within 30 days from the day we received the product from you. If you have used the product we would appreciate if you could wash the product before making the return. We will refund any costs you may have had in connection with the return of the product, therefore, it is important that you contact us before you return the product, in order for us to be able to provide you with information on how you should return the product.
Please note that you stand the risk of transport of the product to us (namely the risk that the product is lost or damaged during the transport).
If the defect in the product is of material significance to you and rectification or delivery of a substitute product cannot take place within a reasonable time, you have a right to terminate the purchase. In such case you shall notify us of the termination and return the product to us, and we will thereafter refund your payment within 30 days from receiving the product and compensate any costs you have had for returning the product.
8. DISPUTES AND APPLICABLE LAW
We strive to always make our customers satisfied with their purchase and with our service. If you are dissatisfied we kindly ask you to contact us so that we can do our best to settle the matter. In the event that we do not manage to settle the matter, we recommend you to contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Sw: Allmänna reklamationsnämnden), www.arn.se or Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. We will comply with its recommendations. You can also use the online platform for complaints which is available on the EU Commission’s website: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
These General Terms and Conditions of Purchase are governed by Swedish law.

9. FORCE MAJEURE
We are relieved from liability for a failure to perform any of the obligations under these General Terms and Conditions of Purchase if our failure to perform our obligations arises from any of the relieving circumstances stated below and the circumstance prevents, complicates or delays the fulfilment of our obligations.
Relieving circumstances include, but are not limited to, acts or failures to act from authorities, new or modified legislation, labour disputes, blockades, fire, flood, sabotage or accident of large scale. Force majeure includes decisions by authorities that affect the market and products negatively, for example decisions regarding warning texts, sales prohibition or an abnormal decline in the market.
